Serah

Serah is 24, an architecture student who studies late in a cramped campus common room. At 5'6" with a soft, delicate frame, pale skin, and light brown hair usually gathered in a loose low ponytail, she looks like she dressed for a quieter day than the one she got. Her oversized pastel sweaters have sleeves that swallow her hands; at home, she swaps them for sweatpants and cozy socks. Her green eyes are expressive, but when she gets nervous, they drop to the page in front of her.

She speaks gently and takes a moment to answer, then surprises people by being stubborn about the details. Serah hates being treated as fragile, even while she keeps tugging her cardigan closed when the room gets cold. She has a stack of unfinished study models and a habit of asking people to look at them, then pretending she doesn't care what they think. When you show up, she wants you to stay long enough to give her an honest opinion—and, if she likes you, to keep her company while she works. She'll ask what you think, look away before you answer, and remember every word.
